Step 1: Material
An outdoor rug is different from a rug for indoors. Unlike a regular rug, an outdoor rug must be wear and colour fast and resistant to various weather conditions. So choose synthetic materials that can take a beating.

It not only determines the look, but also how you experience the space. A rectangular outdoor rug is ideal under a garden table or lounge set: it frames the seating area and creates a stylish island that immediately catches the eye.
A shape that is actually more commonly seen outdoors than indoors is round. Do you have a small outdoor space or want to soften angular shapes? Then go for a round outdoor rug! Step 3: Size
The best fitting size is partly determined by the available space and the furniture. Do you have a balcony or a narrow sofa you want to brighten up? Then go for a balcony rug.
