If you place a rectangular rug under the bed, make sure it is large enough to leave a strip showing on both sides. That way you can rest your feet on a warm surface when you get in or out of bed. Who would not want that!

If you have a standard 160x200 double bed, we recommend choosing a rug at least 200cm wide. That gives you around 20cm of margin on either side. Do you have a small bedroom? Then consider a round rug. It breaks up the straight lines in the room, visually creating an open feel and more spaciousness. Place the rug partly under one of the outer legs for a playful, layered look.
