Pattern you can feel

Combine softness and cheerfulness with the Lou Dots Purple kids’ room rug from Little Olly. This purple children’s rug feels like stepping onto a cloud — and that’s no coincidence. Thanks to its fluffy, high-pile texture made from 100% cotton, it’s not only wonderfully soft under little feet, but also breathable and warm in every season. The hand-tufted finish gives the rug a rich, lively look; each dot is subtly textured and invites little hands to explore.

The same playful charm is reflected in the design: a pastel purple base with cheerful dots that give the room a dreamy glow. Perfect beside the bed or in the play corner, where children can read, play, or simply lie down and relax. The OEKO-TEX® certification ensures that the Lou Dots Purple kids’ rug is free from harmful substances and completely safe for children and pets.

Cotton rugs may shed some fibers during the first few days. This is perfectly normal for natural materials and usually decreases after about a week. Light vacuuming (with a carpet brush and without rotating brushes) keeps the rug fresh and beautiful, allowing Lou Dots Purple to remain an atmospheric focal point in the kids’ room for years to come.

Cleaning methods

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fibre with a matte, understated look that may shed slightly in the first few weeks; this is normal and settles down with regular vacuuming. Cotton naturally absorbs a little more dirt and moisture than a synthetic rug, part of its natural character, which is also why the strong fibre is often used as a backing on other rugs.

Care

Regular vacuuming reduces shedding on a new cotton rug. Blot a spill immediately with a damp cloth: cotton absorbs moisture quickly, so a spill would otherwise work further in. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight to slow down fading. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.
