The Vintage Rug - Estate Medallion Dark Green is a beautiful rug from our FRAAI collection. This rug features both blue and Green tones, giving it a fresh look, while its medallion pattern adds a classic touch. It creates a rustic and industrial feel, but can also evoke a Persian vibe due to the medallion design. The pattern of this rug is based on authentic, original persian rugs, carefully selected to replicate the look of a real Persian rug. The quality of this rug is also on par with thegenuine persian rugs, offering you a beautiful piece at a great price! This rug is the perfect combination of a Persian and vintage rug. It is made from cotton with a chenille top layer.

Cleaning methods

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Material

Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fibre with a matte, understated look that may shed slightly in the first few weeks; this is normal and settles down with regular vacuuming. Cotton naturally absorbs a little more dirt and moisture than a synthetic rug, part of its natural character, which is also why the strong fibre is often used as a backing on other rugs.

Chenille

The chenille weave gives the yarn a soft, slightly textured feel with a subtle sheen that shifts depending on the viewing angle, giving the rug a dense, soft feel underfoot.

Care

Regular vacuuming reduces shedding on a new cotton rug. Blot a spill immediately with a damp cloth: cotton absorbs moisture quickly, so a spill would otherwise work further in. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight to slow down fading. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.

Care

Vacuum regularly on low suction and blot a spill immediately with a damp cloth, so the soft weave stays intact. With a cotton or rayon base fibre, blot sooner rather than later: these absorb moisture faster, so a spill would otherwise work further in.

Your rug, designed by us

Drawn in our own studio

Every design is developed in house, so how it looks and how it holds up get decided at the same time.

Made for a busy floor

A pattern worth looking at, on a rug that takes daily traffic.

Yarn and weave chosen for wear

Chosen for how they hold up in daily use, not only for how they look.
